I am an Oglala Lakota geographer, art historian, and artist based in Tucson, Arizona. I research cooperative agreements, like co-management and co-stewardship, between tribal governments and federal agencies like the National Park Service. I approach this research through geography and visual cultural studies to investigate how visual materials can play a significant role in cooperative agreements by centering Native self-representation, histories, and land/water relations.
